Newly Renovated 3BR Modern Apt in Heart of OB

Amazing place to stay and even more amazing hosts. Would 10/10 recommend and definitely would stay here again.

Becky and Dan’s apartment was perfect for my family. We loved the location to the beach (only 1.5 blocks!) and they provided chairs, towels and beach toys which delighted my kids. The unit itself was spacious and clean, loved their decor, had a very clean sleek beachy feel. We could spread out and have downtime as each room had its own TV. And my husband and I were very grateful for the stocked coffee pods and creamers for when we woke up!! We had a blast and my kids are already asking when we could go back!

We really enjoyed the stay! The apartment was very nice, everything was clean, ready to use and the check in so easy!

We had an awesome experience! Dan and Becky were very accommodating. They let us do an early check-in and they brought us an air mattress to accommodate the number of people we had. Everything was new, fresh and clean. There was a lot of attention to the small details that made our stay even more comfortable. Got the most amazing sleep with the blackout curtains and the cozy comforter and pillows. Only downfall was that the unit was downstairs so we could hear the family upstairs walking back and forth and their child running around. At one point we think he jumped off something and it sounded like he was going to come through the ceiling. Some of my family (the men 😂) were hot in the bedrooms because the AC is only in the living room but the ceiling fans were fine for the rest of us. Location was awesome, we had a great time walking around checking out all the local eateries. Thank you for making our stay in SD confortable and fun! ♥️

Small, but nicely and it seems, newly, updated. Very nice kitchen and bathroom (but just one for 3 BR). Kitchen flows into living space, so it did not feel small. Internet good. Clean. Very close (but not too close) to restaurants and shops on Neptune St and just a block from a nice sand beach. Nice beach chairs and boogie boards in the garage. Overall, a great stay.

Negative: הדירה ממוקמת בקומה ראשונה- כל החלונות הם ממש על המדרכה, כך שלא ניתן לפתוח אותם, ואם הוילון מוסט- אדם שעובר בחוץ ממש בגובה של החלון. לילה אחד, הייתה מסיבה של אנשים אחרים ליד החלונות בסלון- לא נעים. יש חדר שירותים אחד- מאוד קטן. החנייה לא אפשרית עם רכב גדול- פנינו לבעל הדירה, שהיה זמין, וחנינו במקום שאמר לנו החוסם את הכניסה לחנייה. מול החלק האחורי של הדירה, מחוץ לחנייה, יש שורה של פחי אשפה ציבוריים, מלא זבובים ולא נעים.

We were on a trip from UL with our 3 teenage children. The space was perfect for us as we all had our own space but could come together for family time at mealtimes or watching a film. The unit is spotless and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Location perfect close to the beach and all the restaurants and bars.

Great time in a wonderful location just a few minutes walk from the beach. We had a wonderful stay! This rental was beautiful inside and out. Very comfortable with lots of seating options and storage. The fenced in patio out front was perfect for enjoying the beautiful weather. The location is great! We were able to walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. We had a great stay. The space was nicely renovated and clean. Kitchen was stocked with all utensils needed. Bedding was good quality and comfortable mattresses. Good location by the beach and close to many restaurants. Nice waterfall shower (no bath) which was harder with little kids but we made it work. A great little place for a getaway!

The location of the house was amazing. It’s about six minutes walking distance to the beach and about another six minute walking distance to restaurant, target CVS and local bars. The house was very clean. I absolutely love the kitchen. The rooms were clean. The rescue was super clean and I loved the shower. This house was super spacious for my family and I we enjoyed our stay here and we would definitely want to come back.

Positive: Nice apartment in an area that was a couple minute walk to the beach, shopping and restaurants Negative: The only complaints I have are really out of control of the owner, which was parking, there was one very small garage spot and the street parking was so full we had to park a couple sreets down. The other was that 1 bathroom is not enough for 6 people.

We’re in San Diego at least once a year and have stayed in downtown, Pacific Beach, Mission Beach, and now Ocean Beach. We loved being walking distance from the beach and not having to bring our beach accessories like chairs etc. in tow. The garage is tight though, but there is street parking. Clean and tidy space for our family of four. Would recommend.

This unit was clearly advertised and what we expected. As a family with young kids, we appreciated the access to high chair and pack and play, and also appreciated still being walkable to restaurants and shops while not bring in the middle of the noise of it. The only difficulty was the size of the garage- our minivan fit the advertised width and height, but could not fit by length which wasn't specified

It was super close to SeaWorld and Balbor park and many restaurants. Dan answered very quickly to my questions. Rooms are bit small but perfect for family who go to tour in the morning. It has an airfryer and water filter jug as well so convenient to cook. My whole family was satisfied.

This place is the perfect location to walk to the beach or a variety of restaurants. It’s a 15-20 min drive to other areas of interest in San Diego. It was very clean. The availability of beach chairs and boogie boards was a great bonus. I would stay here with my family again!

Great spot! We have a 2 year old and a 5 year old and the room setup was great for us. Close to tons of restaurants and coffee shops and walking distance to the beach. Plenty of beach toys and wagons to take the kids to the beach and easy access to laundry in the garage. Clean house and nice to have a Tv in each room!

A perfect spot situated in OB that gives you immediate access to beaches, bars and restaurants. The singular bathroom and smaller living area is not as much of a problem as expected, but be prepared to share the entire space. Overall, a great little beach house that meets your needs. Dan and Becky were always very helpful answering any questions I had, as well as providing plenty of recommendations with things to do in the area.

We stayed here over the Easter Weekend. It was very clean. It was a cute place to stay close to the beach and alot of restaurants and coffees/donuts shops. The place is just great and exactly like the pictures, location is good, and Dan seems to be a nice guy ( I just saw him a couple of minutes when I arrived ) the only small issue is that it seems that there are children living in the upper apartment and you can hear and feel their steps running all the time, would stay here again in the summer for sure.

Dan and Becky's place is perfect! The location was very close to Dog Beach and walking distance to so many great restaurants. The garage parking spot was small, but fit my car just fine. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed and more. There was even plenty of ice in the freezer for our use. Our family loved our stay! I booked this property based on the location. The kitchen wasn't the most well stocked, but we made do. Hands down the best part for our family was the available beach equipment to use. It was so nice to have beach chairs, an umbrella and even a wagon to carry it all there. Our 13, 11 & 8 year old loved the boogie boards! This place will save you a lot on beach rentals! If we ever come back to this area, we'd be happy to book this place again!

Great stay in Ocean Beach!! - Very responsive and great hosts with easy check in/out process - Unit was clean & comfortable, everything was as advertised - Neighbourhood at first appeared a little rough, but soon changed our mind. Lots of friendly locals out walking their dogs! - So close (3min walk) to the main strip with countless eateries & shops! ... make sure you check out the strips markets on Weds afternoons *amazing!!* - Carport is quite narrow, couldn't fit our Dodge sedan, but was given alternative to park alongside the garage which worked - So handy having full kitchen/laundry!! Thank you very much :) we'll be back!

This air bnb unit provided great space for the four of us - a couple with two college age kids - so that kids each got their own room! Very convenient from the airport with easy access to local restaurants and coffee shops. Short drives to San Diego Zoo and getting to downtown San Diego and Coronado Island. Unit was very clean and hosts very hospitable.

Dan and Becky were great hosts! They were always responsive and very detailed. This was probably by far the easiest check-in for an Airbnb. The parking is pretty tight but being able to parallel park next to the garage was a huge plus since we have a midsize SUV. The kitchen is remodeled and very nice. Shops, the beach, and restaurants are literally minutes away. I would definitely love to come back here in the future.
