Great stay 2 blocks from Ocean Beach! We brought our dog and spent each morning walking the beach. Perfect getaway conveniently located near the beach and restaurants.

For me, because I have dogs, the location was perfect for dog beach. Great coffee at cafe belle right down the street, walk to dog beach daily and great food nearby all walkable. Even had a DIY dog wash block away from the beach! Place was sparkling clean with your basic essentials. Excellent internet and nice pressure in shower. Garage was nice touch, just need to have a small car. Had a pleasant stay and my dogs sure did enjoy the location. Thank you of having us! Somi and Joel

This place was a great spot with plenty of room, kitchen with fridge and freezer, and laundry in the unit. Having AC available was great which many San Diego locations don't have. Restaurants are located walking distance and same with the beach. I was with my dog and dog beach is about a 5 minute walk from this spot with the other side of the beach right next to dog beach. Easy to access and in a quiet neighborhood.

Really nice place. Great appliances and AC. Even though there was some street work going on for a part of my stay I could hardly hear it inside. Dan was friendly and helpful.

Cozy spot in a very walkable area. Hosts were very responsive whenever we had questions. Good wifi if you need to do some work. Garage parking was convenient. Great spot.

We enjoyed all the amenities & referrals to local interests. New renters will not be able to see the house numbers from Lotus st- they are obstructed behind a building & a tree, so go through the gate to the right of the house next door at 5071 Lotus, walk back to 2 sets of stairs -one leads up to 5075 & the other up to 5079. Owners were helpful & quick responders to questions.

The garage parking is tight but doable if you are a good parker (which I am not😬☹️😲). There are stairs so loading in and loading out was a pain in the butt, and there's not a yard, but I dealt with it because of the location! ONE BLOCK from dog beach - which is just what my dog n I needed😊

This stay was perfect for us and the dogs! When the listing said walkable I didn’t truly understand how close it is to dog beach, shops and restaurants. The apartment is beautifully updated and I’ve been in some that say renovated but it’s done very cheaply. Not here! They put a lot of thought and care into that apartment and you feel it. Communication from the hosts was very proactive and they checked in and offered help as needed. We would definitely stay here again!

Had a wonderful stay visiting with our two small dogs. It was very clean, which we appreciated. It’s also a short walk to the beach. We would stay here again in the future if visiting OB!

I stayed for three days for a work conference and Dan and Becky’s place was great. It was super clean and they were very quick to respond to a question about the lock. Street parking was not bad - I drive a Camry and the garage was a little to tight for me. But I didn’t have issues finding parking around the corner. Big emphasis on how clean everything was including dish ware/silverware and I appreciated the water filter!

My stay at Dan & Becky’s place was beyond peaceful & cozy that I didn’t want to leave. My pup and I enjoyed walking to the dog beach and exploring the area, as OB is extremely dog friendly. As a solo traveler with a small pup, I felt extremely safe. The apartment itself was cozy yet spacious, clean, modern, aesthetically pleasing, and offered great amenities. Dan was very gracious & was quick to respond. I would definitely stay here again. I appreciate the hospitality!

Really enjoyed my stay. The unit is very stylish, new, clean and private. Beautiful remodel. I appreciated the decorator touches throughout - both inside and out. A lot of Airbnbs look good in photos but then you get there and can see the remodel was done poorly and the furnishings feel like they were on clearance at Home Goods. This place is the opposite - it exceeded my expectations. I will definitely book again!

We love staying in Ocean Beach and this was a really great place that we'd love to come back to! It was incredibly clean and comfortable. The kitchen had all of the things one might need to cook a great meal. And you can't beat the location... a short walk to a bunch of great restaurants and coffee places. Plus the best dog beach on the planet is like a block and half away! Thanks for having such a nice place be dog friendly. Can't wait to return!

The perfect place for a San Diego weekend away. Our pup loved that it was a 5 min walk to the dog beach with amazing sunsets to boot. Super close driving to fun activities like the zoo, La Jolla or Coronado. Hosts were very sweet to provide furniture covers for our pup and great stocked kitchen for dinners in. So walkable to restaurants and coffee in the area. 10/10!

Very beautifully decorated, very clean, very quiet

We had a wonderful time! The place was clean and nicely decorated. The hosts were very responsive and even went out of their way to bring new batteries for the remote control, within 30 minutes of hearing about it. Our dog loved dog beach which was a very short walk. Great restaurants in the area, we recommend Ulivo if you like Italian food. We recommend staying here if you want a beach vacation with your pup in tow.

Very nice apartment. Everything as described. Easy walk to the beach. A lot of great eateries nearby. Host available if needed anything. Is in the airports flight path, so heard planes every morning about 6:15.

The apartment is perfectly placed near the OB dog park. Parking on the street is easy if your car doesn’t fit in the garage. Excellent communication. Really pleased when the sun came out on our last day.

Nice 1B. Mom slept in the room while I slept on the pullout couch. Our two small dogs could briefly roam around the premises without being on the street. Great water pressure when showering. Clean kitchen. Amazing location to the dog beach.

Great location and good value. Positive: Great location in Ocean Bch. Right under the flight path of SAN, so bring earplugs…standard for OB. One day they scheduled maintenance on the garage and hammer drills were right under the bedroom…not cool before 8 am in a rental apt. The guy was nice, but VERY noisy and we lost sleep. Please schedule stuff when no one is there or later in the day.

Everything within walking distance, and if not getting in/out to freeway is a “breeze”… the walk to beach is a bit “dirty” due to all the pets (city could/should help out) people should also clean up after their pet … definitely would stay here again, Thanks!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. Exactly what we were hoping for in San Diego and more! We were able to travel with our two pups here and they felt so comfortable and right at home. Even though this place is pet friendly you would never know a pet has ever been in there, it was so cleanly and neat. We would absolutely stay here again. Dan and Becky’s place was exactly as described. Very clean, comfortable and had everything that was needed. The bed and sheets were super comfortable. It was super quiet at night. Location was perfect, just a block away from the beach when made it easy to come and go as needed. It was also within walkable distance to restaurants and bars. It was nice. One thing I recommend you check is the electronic bolt on the front door. May be just me but the bolt seemed to not want to extend and lock the door. I like the design of the bathroom. Nice upgrade. One in my house is pending remodel and I took pictures of yours for ideas. Love OB. Was a nice break away from LA. Your rental was worth the price.

Nice place, not a nice neighborhood. The apartment was clean and newly remodeled, but the surroundings really bring it down. PROS: Clean kitchen and apartment Everything you need for cooking Comfortable couch and bed Proximity to dog beach. Hosts are accommodating and fast to respond. CONS: Rough neighborhood- lots of homeless folks in the alley at all hours. We saw people smoking crack beneath the kitchen window at 11am. So much trash in the alley and street in front of the apartment. Not pleasant for walking around. Street parking was hard to find and took nearly 15 minutes each night- especially because of the street sweeping schedule. (Our car didn’t fit in the garage- compact SUV) The apartment lacks some basics like a dresser or place to store clothes . The bedside tables need to be larger and have lamps. Storage, in general is lacking- no where to put purse, jacket, shoes, etc. The bathroom is super small- although it’s “as pictured” Street noise.

Dan and Becky's unit in Ocean Beach was perfect!!! Upon entering, it was so clean, nice layout, lovely appliances, great shower/tub combo. But, the bed was my favorite part!!!! lol. It was so comfortable with a big screen to chill after my long days exploring. I couldn't have picked a better place. They were also very responsive if I had the slightest question! That means a lot to me. Thanks so much!!!! 💗

The space was very pretty and the amenities were super helpful!! The area where the air bnb is located is kind of scary at night but thankfully we felt safe inside the air bnd. The beach is walking distance but I definitely recommend corona Del Mar beach, it’s so beautiful and 20min by car. The garage is quite tight fitting, as I couldn’t fit my Rav into it lol. But there is street parking which is great and it’s on a first come first serve basis. We met Dan, who is one of the hosts and he is SO NICE. Overall great stay:)

We felt right at home! Dan and Becky’s place was comfortable, clean, and in a convenient location to the beach and local restaurants. We worked from the apartment all week, the wifi was excellent and we had two great areas to work. The garage was perfect, we have a Honda accord and was able to fit it in there. We just parked it in there and walked everywhere during our stay. The hosts were responsive when contacted and very friendly! We were extremely sad to leave but we know we will be back to stay at their location every time we are back in OB! Thank you Dan, Becky and team, we can’t wait to be back.

We loved our stay. Everything was super clean like everything. He had everything we needed at the apartment, plenty of clean towels, creamer, filtered water. A very nice kitchen you name it. My dogs were super relaxed and that speaks volumes. The airbnb has a garage that worked for our toyota camry, a little tight but it worked out. The only inconvenient we had was the street parking. We weren’t very informed on the street fines if you park there between Wednesday and Thursday through the first week of the month and we got a violation citation twice. For a total of 100 dollars we had to pay to San Diego. It was unfortunate as we did not know there was such a penalty. But it isn’t the owners fault of course. Would definitely come back with a single car as with 2 is not the best considering the street sweeping violation fee we where charged for.

This stay was great. Not sure when they did the renovation, but we thought it was just done right before we walked in! It is in pristine condition and you feel like you are in a brand new apartment. The bed was one of the most comfortable we have ever had at an AirBnB anywhere. Great nights of sleep there. The amenities are terrific. Make sure you have a vehicle on the smaller side in order to park in the garage. We have a BMW X3 and it fits in the garage, but hard to get in and out due to the alley entrance. They were great in assisting with a parking solution for us, plus there is a lot of street parking available. The proximity to Dog Beach is key for us and our Labrador Retriever and it was only a short walk to the water. Don’t forget to try breakfast at Benedict’s right at the entrance to Dog Beach. We highly recommend this stay and marked it down as a place we would like to stay again.

Not here... well oriented and efficient design. We picked this spot because of the attached single car garage. We rented a Ford Festiva and were able to park with ease, thanks to garage dimensions provided in the details. This little AirBnb is charming and well kept- couldn't have been happier with our stay. My wife and I visited with our pup and had a great time. 3 min walk to the beach with an incredible breakfast spot along the way (Benedict’s). We also walked to OB Surf Lodge and Blue Water Seafood for sunset cocktails. If you’re looking for an INCREDIBLE Italian spot nearby, Elvira gets an 11/10 from us. If you’re a runner, very close to several paths along the water. I enjoyed going up to the OB Municipal Pier then over to Quivira Basin just to the NE. Space was clean, amenities were as described, and hosts were very responsive. Great place for a couple, but would tight for anything more. A bit of a difficult place to find, but to be expected in that neighborhood. The garage was a HUGE plus for us. Since we walked mostly everywhere, it was nice not having to fight for street parking and knowing our car was protected although it was small - was tight for our Mazda Cx-5.

We were visiting San Diego for the first time and this was a perfect getaway for our group of 4! The apartment is super modern with all the amenities (washer/dryer, microwave, huge TVs, etc.) and comes with a garage parking spot (mind you it’s a smaller spot but the airbnb hosts do a good job of telling you what dimensions will fit in the garage). The sleeper sofa was also quite comfy in the living room. We didn’t get a chance to enjoy the patio outside but there’s also 2 nice chairs outside the door. The walls can be thin so we did hear our neighbors during the day, but that’s to be expected living in a condo. Other than that the apartment was in a peaceful neighborhood and there’s not much noise. Highly recommend this Airbnb in the San Diego area!

The dog beach is mere 0.4 miles and even restaurants are within 0.4 miles of walkable distance with amazing food options. The place is cozy with beautiful decoration and beach house vibes . Well-planned floor plan and easy access the house with no issue with our German shepherd puppy to go up and down. Nice patio to wipe our feet and paws, and dried towels, shoes, leash and other stuffs. We brought our cooler, air fryer, griddle, and our own coffee maker because we are older couple who enjoys the simple pleasure of life. We cooked our breakfast and used the high-end utensils available. The bed was comfy, good enough for Scott's back. We have sufficient space in the room to put all our stuff we brought in our well-packed sedan. That means a place for Winter as well. We treasured the time we spent in this place, the best 5 days of our San Diego vacation. The weather in May was perfect, mid 60s and 50s at nighttime. The air coming from the kitchen was fresh and cool. We don't need to use the a/c. I would wish a dog's little grassy area to poop and pee but the streets are fine. This is our first time in San Diego... Dog Beach!

I appreciate that. I selected this place for the location - I love Ocean Beach and Dog Beach - and we found so much to do in the neighborhood. The garage was such a treat for me as I have stayed in OB without a garage and getting parking at certain times can be a challenge. I remarked at least daily how stress-free having a garage is! The whole place is very user-friendly -- there isn't clutter all over the place and all the furniture/appliances/etc are very usable and well-thought out. Thanks again for a great stay - we already want to come back :)
