The funky vibe of the unit fits the attitude of the town, and having a place to park the car was a bonus! Will definitely be staying here again next time we visit San Diego.

This was fantastic Airbnb! The place was so well designed, and impeccably clean. The hosts were very responsive and went over and above to ensure we had a great visit to Ocean Beach. The location was also ideal to walk to the beach or any of the stores and restaurants. Will definitely book again on our next trip to San Diego.

My wife and I had a great time staying here for a quick getaway. This part of OB (Ocean Beach neighborhood) was very lively and very easy for groceries, restaurant, beach access, etc. We’ll be staying here again when we come back to SD.

Awesome location!

The place was very nice and cozy. The bedding was very comfortable and we all got a restful nights sleep. The only downside, the parking spot. We had a medium sized SUV and the parking spot was really tight to pull in and out of. Aside from that, the place was a short walking distance to the beach and restaurants. The crowd at Ocean Beach was interesting. But we did enjoy the tide pools and beach with the kids.

Great apartment in the middle of Ocean Beach. Close to everything one would go to OB for but in a residential quiet(er) area. The place was clean and pretty (exactly as pictured), well-stocked with the things one would need for a pleasant stay, and the hosts were very communicative and helpful. Overall a very nice place to stay.

Location was great, just a few minutes walk to the beach, shopping, and restaurants. It was a quiet and lovely neighborhood. The home was perfect for our family (2 adults, 2 kids) and had everything we needed. The hair dryer was so much nicer than the ones you typically find in a hotel or rental. If you have a larger vehicle the parking might be tough - we reserved a small SUV but were “upgraded” to a large one that almost didn’t fit. Dan and Becky have the most well-appointed home and easiest check out of anywhere I’ve stayed which made our vacation much less stressful!

We had a wonderful stay! The place was exactly as described. We tried the recommended restaurant, it was a success. This place is ideally located for easy beach access along with hopping onto the freeways to visit other parts of San Diego.

Dan and Becky’s place was wonderful! A short walk to the beach and restaurants and shops. The high ceilings in the main room made the space seem very large. The kitchen was pristine and well appointed! We will be back!

My family of 4, including 2 kids ages 5 and 7, stayed here for 3 nights and absolutely loved it! Place was just as pictured, beds were very comfortable, kitchen had ALL the gadgets, and the rain shower was huge and lovely! The beach chairs, wagon, and toys were a huge bonus as well. Great central location to make getting to anywhere in San Diego a quick drive or walk. Parking spot was tight, so if you have a bigger vehicle you might have a hard time getting in and out of your car, but it was an amazing amenity to have a designated spot right by the house, as the streets were often full!

Absolutely fantastic hosts and a 5 star stay! I picked this place because I was recovering from surgery and wanted a nice quiet place and also something walkable since I didn't want to do a lot of driving. I also wanted a nice big TV and cozy couch to relax on. This place checked all those boxes and more. Dan is very responsive and went above and beyond. Great host and human being. The airbnb has an open floor plan, very nice kitchen, and comfortable beds. They didn't cut corners, the furnishings, kitchen appliances, ect are high quality. It was also fairly quiet with some minor exceptions (someone's car alarm goes off in the middle of the night, every night). Bonus: there is a really fun farmers market right outside your door on Thursdays. It's a short walk to the beach and I felt comfortable walking even at night. I won't hesitate to book when I'm back in town. My only recommendation would be some small rugs and slightly bigger nightstands. Solid choice, I highly recommend it!

Lovely place to stay in OB conveniently located just blocks from the beach and Newport Street. Place is updated and on the second floor which allows for more privacy than others around. Dan and Becky were great, communicative hosts!

Our family of four had a great stay here. Clean, well equipped, enough space for us all. Had heard some reviews about OB being a bit sketchy but we didn’t find that at all. Some people obviously having a difficult time in the community but felt perfectly safe. Would stay here again.

This is truly one of the nicest apartments where I have stayed in recent memory. It's refreshing to be in a space that is furnished with great kitchen ware, comfortable beds, a full set of quality pots and pans, and a wonderful shower. Dan was very responsive and easy to communicate with. I will definitely be staying here the next time I am in San Diego!

This was the perfect place. 2 blocks to the beach and 2 blocks to tons of restaurants and bars. Everything is walkable. I love staying in Ocean Beach because of the local vibe it has. If you are looking for a great accommodation in Ocean Beach, San Diego, I can't imagine much better than this. A recently renovated, modern, and super-clean two bedroom apartment two blocks from the beach and two blocks from restaurants, shopping, grocery, CVS, and so on. This is a private second floor apartment, upgraded and at every level: floors, windows, lighting, kitchen, kitchen appliances, dining area, beds, and bathroom. The kitchen is fully-equipped and the bathroom features an overhead shower fixture. The lighting scheme provides dimmers in every area. There is a large-screen television in the living room area, and bedrooms have their own TVs. The interior is roomy and stylish. A high ceiling gives it an airy feel. Windows let in plenty of light. Shade system provides complete privacy at night. The exterior is well-lit from door to steps to parking. The parking slot is just a stairway away. The hosts are welcoming and highly professional. You really feel at home. 10/10.

This is a well kept & maintained space with all the things you need to have a comfortable stay. We cooked in the well appointed kitchen without any issue. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was divine! The ocean breezes are a delight too! Becky and Dan are very responsive hosts and we enjoyed a few of the things on the list they provided. My ONLY “complaint” would be the noise from the airplanes that go over the area approximately every 1-2 minutes from the airport from 6am-11pm every day. Even with earplugs and a sound machine (which we always travel with) the airport noise was not pleasant

This home is beautiful and newly renovated. It's pristine! The beach is a block away and the main strip with tons of restaurants is a few blocks away. We were unable to use our parking space because a very large SUV blocked us but parking on the street was easy. There's a Target and CVS with walking distance also. This is a fantastic location. The beds were comfortable including the pull out couch. Plenty of linens. Amazing Keurig with coffee pods and creamers. It honestly looked move in ready. It looked and felt like a home and not a rental. I lived in Ocean Beach in the past and the beach has actually cleaned up a lot since I was there a few years ago. This place is the perfect rental. Many of the Airbnb's in OB are old and kind of run down. This place could feature in a how to do it right booklet.

The apartment was conveniently located, especially if you want a beach close by. There is reserved parking albeit very reduced space. The amenities were sufficient. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for cooking. The AC works great but there is none in the rooms so we would have to leave doors to the rooms open at night if we wanted cool air. It's a bit noisy to leave windows open. We usually clean before leaving. However, we got a message to clean the night before. Thatcwas a bit annoying, especially since we are paying a cleaning fee and the directions are already on the guesg booklet.

We didn’t have the nicest weather but that would probably be our only complaint! Ocean Beach is such a great neighborhood and everything was super walkable. Short drive to the zoo and the airport which we appreciated. Wagon and beach supplies in the garage were great, but the sand toys could be replaced (no buckets and a bunch of broken shovels). We had an issue with the oven and they offered to stop by the next morning to get it fixed. We declined since we didn’t need it again but appreciated the quick response. Parking is tight; we had a mini van but still made it work! All in all, we would definitely book Dan and Becky’s place again if we’re back in San Diego!

Great family stay Positive: The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, utensils, pots, pans. Close to the beach with boogie boards that we were able to use for the day and had a great time. I left my cell phone on the outdoor table and the staff returned it to me which was awesome because I thought I lost it. We fit very comfortably for a family of five.

Really wonderful 2-bedroom in Ocean Beach. Great layout for a family. The kitchen has the basic tools to cook a simple meal. Comfortable beds. It was nice to have beach chairs and towels to use during our stay. Communication was excellent. Parking on site could be tricky with a larger vehicle, the spaces are very tight to get into.

This was a fantastic apartment, close to so many great restaurants and the beach. The living room/kitchen area were wonderful, and we loved that there was a TV in each room. Parking was easy with the drive way spot, as well as ample street parking. The neighborhood was safe and walkable. The only down side is the bathroom sink/counter was a bit small for a two bedroom place, and the bedrooms themselves were a bit small too compared to the massive living room, but everything was still beautiful and clean. As with everything in San Diego, the airplanes can be pretty loud sometimes, but we got used to it really quickly. We had difficulties using the oven, but Dan was so quick to respond, and drove over to hand deliver us a new air fryer. They went above and beyond in hosting us.

Great place to stay. Stayed here as part of a week of visiting the San Diego Area with my 9 year old, and we had a great time. Great location to walk around and also as a base to go out to the Zoo, Balboa Park, Sea World, etc.. and close to many amenities, restaurants, etc... The house itself is perfect for two/three people, in great shape, with easy access for the region. Also a three minute walk to ocean beach, which is great. Communication with Dan and Becky was also excelent and quite easy - with very quick replies to questions. Overall great stay.

Positive: Great location near ocean beach and to stay in San Diego. Lots of shops and and cafes nearby. Close enough to everything we needed. The host was fantastic, there was only one wine glass when we check in and they delivered another 4 which was great. The boggy boards etc in the garage was fantastic. Negative: One of the bedrooms was quite hot. You needed to sleep with the door open and the aircon on. The parking was tight for two cars, at one stage both us and the neighbours has large SUV and you needed to play parking Jenga.
