This place was a great find. We were looking for something with walking distance to beach, short drive to relative’s homes and something peaceful. It checked all the boxes. We had some glitches with the air conditioning but they responded within minutes and sent someone right out. They even took care to call and make sure it was all okay. A literal 3 minute walk to the beach. The place was very nice but we didn’t spend too much time there since the beach was so close. It was also great because it was a 30-40 minute walk to all of the main shops and restaurants in La Jolla. Will DEFINITELY be booking again when I come back to San Diego.

This was one of the best places we've ever stayed in, especially the location! It was just a block away from the beach, perfect for a little sunset watching or morning walks. The bus stop is located at top of the street which made getting to La Jolla so much easier. There are also a few cafes within walking distance, I recommend Rosemont Cafe! The house itself was extremely clean, and stocked with everything you might need from cooking utensils to beach chairs. The place has an abundance of windows so natural light was plentiful! The bed was huge, comfortable and TV in the bedroom was a plus. The hosts were also very responsive, kind and helpful. Our flight was arriving earlier than the check-in time and they were able to accommodate an earlier check-in. Dan & Denise helped my girlfriend surprise me with flowers and balloons for my birthday when we first checked in! Overall, the entire stay was perfect and we can't recommend it enough and we plan on staying here.

We loved our stay at this great apartment. Positive: We loved the space and the location to the beach. The kitchen esp was fully kitted out with everything we needed. We also liked the fact that it was right next to the bus line and we could easily travel to the Cive as well as Burdrick to the fantastic bakery and the Birdrock roasters cafe. Negative: As we told the host, the shower door needed a little tweeking to stay closed..

We spent just over a week at this beautiful newly renovated unit just steps away from windansea beach. If you’re looking for a peaceful beach getaway, this is the place. The house has been upgraded with all of the amenities one needs - new smart TVs, a beautiful full kitchen, and luxurious bedding. This area of La Jolla is quiet and residential - there are small restaurants and cafes nearby but this is not the hustle and bustle of pacific beach, which was perfect for us. Will definitely be returning.

We love this place! It's cozy and comfortable, very clean and good equipped (washer and dryer were extremely useful.) I have to mention a perfect bedding: ideal mattress, comfy pillows and duvet cover instead of flat sheets - it is a sleep heaven! Full kitchen was a big convenience to have - we can get a nice breakfast right at home and be ready for long day adventures. Location!!! Location is unbeatable - two blocks from the ocean gives endless possibilities for morning and evening walks. Small grocery store 5 min away (walking). Dan is very friendly host, easy to communicate with. We are looking forward to rent this place again in the nearest future.

Full amenities were available in the kitchen including coffee, sweetener and cream. The bedding was very comfortable and clean. There was ample room to relax and watch TV after a day of walking and shopping. The location was a block from the ocean and very close to restaurants. There was great street parking. It's easy to recommend this immaculate, tastefully decorated, comfortable home only two blocks from Windansea Beach! The courtyard, shared with one other unit, is charming. On-street parking can be a challenge during busy times but we always found a nearby spot. LOVE La Jolla!!

This Airbnb was beautiful, exceptionally clean, and modern. It wasn't as large as it appeared to me in the photographs, but it was plenty large enough for me and my wife, it would be fine for a couple with one child. The hosts very responsive. The instructions for the house were simple and clear. The bed was large and very comfortable. The location was great for walking to the beach, somewhat less good for walking to amenities. That said, a few restaurants and bars were within walking distance. Overall, we highly recommend this place.

The location was amazing. It was 2 blocks from the ocean in a quiet neighborhood . There was a small beach in between two rocky points and it was extremely easy to get to the water. In other areas nearby there are homes or cliffs that make it hard to get to the beach. The interior was modern and in very good shape. The only downside is that there are two units that share the same common area that is used to get into each unit. If you stay here, make sure to check out the bird rock neighborhood. It’s an awesome hidden gem with great shopping, restaurants and coffee shops.

This was the perfect location for our beach getaway. Situated on a quiet street, you walk out the front gate and have a beautiful ocean view. The home felt open, airy and clean, and the shared courtyard was a great bonus. The hosts were quick to respond anytime I had a question, and they were so accommodating. As other reviewers say, this is not a huge space, but nicely decorated and comfortable for one person or for a short visit. I was in a unit that faced the street and the shared patio, so the privacy was not primo, but the space is light and airy, even with shades partially raised. The beach is just down the block, although, since I was visiting for a short time, I never got there! (My fault completely). I enjoyed the trolley tour of San Diego, dinner by the windows at the Marine Room in La Jolla, and the restaurants that Denise's guide to the area recommended.

My girlfriend and I felt immediately at home upon entering the cottage and we were so thankful we had chosen this place to stay out of the many available options. The value for the booking is top tier for many reasons. The cottage is in a great neighborhood and is walking distance to the beach. This makes it easy to enjoy the sunset and listen to the ocean. I can't say enough good things about this rental. I felt like I was staying in a boujee hotel. I absolutely loved it! Check-in was easy and convenient. The space was immaculate and so comfortable. I also loved how updated and high end the space was. The kitchen was well stocked, and the folding wagon was so helpful. Plus, the location can't be beat! It was a quick 2 minute walk to Windansea beach (our favorite spot), a 5 minute walk to Mandarin House for delicious Chinese food, and several cafes. I will definitely be staying here again!

Beautiful, clean, updated and just a block from the beach. The one bedroom felt spacious and was quiet. Outdoor patio was shared, as well as the washer and dryer but had no issues. Lots of extras like beach towels, beach chairs, and even saw a highchair and wagon in the closet. Would def stay here again.
