Everything was great and as advertised without any surprises. New, updated and modern appliances and fixtures. Very comfortable bed. The patio space was comfortable and relaxing for morning coffee with the pup. We even opted to stay another day:) It checked all of our boxes!

We had the BEST TIME. Truly incredible location, spotless home probably the cleanest Airbnb I have ever stayed at. The host was incredibly accommodating. We had an issue with the AC and they sent someone over to fix it immediately, which on Memorial Day weekend that is impressive. The location is truly breathtaking. There are local coffee shops and bars and all kinds of restaurants and shops. We will 1000% be back!! Thank you guys so much.

We had a great stay. The master bed plus fold-out bed was just right for us and our two boys. The house is really well updated, with a beautiful kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. The location is super walkable to the local surf beach and coffee shops, and just a short drive to amazing tide pools, the cove, shopping and the aquarium. Afterward, it was super helpful to have an outdoor shower to wash off the sand. Highly recommended, and we’ll be back!

Beautiful clean house, quiet family neighborhood, easy 2 block walk to the beach or restaurants. Street parking but I was always able to find a spot close. We felt so safe our entire stay. The house was remodeled beautifully and I would love to stay here again! It feels like someone’s vacation home. It is connected to another rental unit that would be great to rent with another family to hang out in the shared courtyard. The best air bnb I’ve stayed in!

We had a wonderful long weekend at this property, everything was as described. Plenty to do and see in and around La Jolla. Short walk to the beach and all beach amenities were available in the unit. Parking can be a bit pesky but we were always able to find a spot within a tight radius...keep in mind it was Labor Day weekend and everywhere was like this. Great hosts and this unit and it's sister unit were both completely remodeled within the past few months. All appliances and fixtures were nice and new. Thank you to our hosts we would stay again.

Lovely apartment/duplex near the beautiful city of La Jolla! Quick, easy walk down to the beach, which was breathtaking. My husband, son, and I really enjoyed our time here as it is beautifully furnished and well taken care of. Parking wasn't a problem while we were there. The A/C was appreciated because we did a lot of outdoor activities and it was nice to come in and cool off. The shared patio (with table/umbrella) was nice as well; there was a friendly family staying in the other unit. I appreciated the addition of the shared washer/dryer -- super helpful when vacationing near the beach. I would definitely stay here again when we return to the area!

This is a great place - only a block from the ocean. It is all newly remodeled with all new appliances and bathroom fixtures. The beds and linens were comfortable, kitchen well stocked, nice little patio. We appreciated that beach chairs and towels were provided! Also we had just come from a biking/hiking trip so we really appreciated the washer/dryer!! Loved all the little local cafes and groceries nearby...The houses are all very close together here but everyone seems to respect the quiet hours of 10p.m. - 8a.m.

Negative: It would be nice if the door to the bedroom was a bit further into the hallway, so that you could enter the bathroom without having to open the bedroom door.

What a beautiful gem in La Jolla right by Windansea Beach. My wife and I stayed here with our dog and it couldn’t have been a more perfect location - morning walks to the beach, grab coffee nearby, and back to the outdoor shower for a paw rinse. I don’t think I’ve been in such a spotless Airbnb as well - felt like the place was just listed! Parking right in front of property isn’t always available but we were always able to find spots half a block away at the busiest times. Neighborhood was very peaceful, secluded, and private at all hours of the day. Definitely staying here again next time we are in the San Diego area.

My daughter and my wife were in town so we thought we do a mini weekend getaway. The unit is nicely updated and very close to one of the nicest beaches in San Diego however you can’t really open the blinds in this unit because the other neighboring units are a bit run down and you’re right next to them. There was some noise at night and when the washer and dryer is going it made a loud noise in the front of the unit. The bed was very comfy. Overall we enjoyed our stay. In my opinion I felt it was a little pricey for what you get.

This location is very safe and just two blocks from the beach in a quiet neighborhood. I had no issue finding parking right outside the house. Although I didn’t walk the neighborhood for coffee in the morning, you would certainly have plenty of spots to choose from—everything from local to corporate. The house is gorgeous inside! A perfect space for a single or couple. The unit was clean, quiet, and felt private. Also, the bed was really comfortable and the bedroom/bathroom shuts off from the living room and kitchen in case you were traveling with a partner but wanted to go to sleep early. I had originally thought the hallway was open, but there is a sliding door into the primary bedroom/bath space. I enjoyed my stay and appreciated all the upgrades.

I must say this was the perfect stay for my husband and I plus our 19 month old son. The condo is cozy and very clean. I also appreciated how well organized and easy it was to find everything. The king size bed was very comfortable to sleep in. I also loved the individual units in each space to either cool or heat. This part of La Jolla is very quiet and peaceful. The view out of the windows is really lovely palm trees and beautiful night time lighting of the landscape. It was also convenient to just walk down the hill and be at the beach, my son had fun playing on the rocks and running from the ocean. Very beautiful sunsets too! I also loved the coffee shop that’s very close called Rosemonts cafe great coffee and delicious baked goods! Also a small grocery store called valley farm market, they have really good quality food within easy walking distance to the condo. Communication with Denise, Dan and Becky was always so easy and they were always accommodating!

A quick visit to California Positive: The location was really close to the beach. It was a little far to walk to the center of Lajolla.. The host was incredibly responsive. The place was newly renovated and pleasantly furnished. Negative: I did not like that there was a common shared space. The other residents were really nice but if they weren't it would have been awkward.

I have only wonderful things to say about the place. It was so clean, so beautiful. Kitchen had things that were actually functional and also thoughtful like storage containers/tupperware, and vegetable peelers, and actually functional knives (so rare in an airBNB). They had dishwasher pods available and soap and sponges that were all new. The washing machine was great to have and super nice, and they had pods for that too! It truly was home away from home. And the beach was right there!!! An amazing experience, thanks a lot!

Plenty of street parking with no problems. The neighborhood was quite and safe. Don't miss out on taking a block and half stroll down to the beach and catch an amazing sunset. Great location! Street parking was easy! Great spot to walk and access beaches, main sights etc. Good living space. Only complaint is you can hear the neighbouring unit, even conversations. Hosts were incredibly helpful and responsive. They supplied some extra spices, oil after check in to help make the stay more comfortable. I would stay here again.

We had a great experience overall- the hosts were friendly and responsive throughout. The unit is in a great location just a block away from the beach. We did however encounter multiple ants and various other bugs in the unit. The AC was glitchy, the back door lock did not lock and the front gate malfunctioned, though the owners did report that was a function of the bad weather.

Loved our time at this spot - it was better than staying in a corporate hotel for our week-long seminar in La Jolla, although it was more expensive and we had to rent a car. The place is very convenient, in a great neighborhood and spotlessly clean as advertised. Easy street parking as noted in the listing. Very welcoming to and great space for our puppy in between beautiful strolls to the ocean and beach. Would highly recommend and would return next time we are in La Jolla.

Everything was excellent, The host was amazing and very quick to respond, The unit is beautiful and clean and has everything you can ask for, great appliances and washer and dryer. The apartment is very easily walkable to the beach. The only complaint we may have that the walls are paper thin and this may not be in the control of the host and it wasn't too big of an issue for us, but at times while using the bathroom if someone else was in the second unit in the bathroom you could even hear them coughing. This may be norm for the area but coming from Texas it was a little weird but nothing that ruined our stay. We had a little kid so we were always worried if the child was bothering the second unit. We would highly recommend and come back again.

We enjoyed the space which was as advertised. We especially appreciated how quiet the area was and the nice patio for evening refreshments. The furniture, especially the bed, was very comfortable. We never had an issue getting street parking and we found the area pretty easy to navigate. Denise provided a link prior to our arrival so we could review attractions and things to see and do before we arrived. We found that to be very helpful. This property is a very short walk to the ocean. We gathered the provided lawn chairs and headed to the sea to enjoy incredible sunsets. We had a wonderful stay!

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful one-bedroom cottage. It’s recently renovated, clean, and very comfortable, with plenty of storage and a cozy outdoor table. The bed was great and having a washer and dryer right outside the door was super convenient. The location is quiet and very close to the beach, though it’s about a 25-minute walk to downtown La Jolla. Dan and Denise were very communicative and responded quickly when we had an issue with the internet. One suggestion that would make the stay even better is adding a vacuum cleaner. Being so close to the ocean, it’s easy to track sand inside, and if you’re traveling with a pet, it would really help with pet hair as well. A clock would be useful, and the shower water pressure is quite low, so it takes longer than usual. Overall, we highly recommend this cute cottage and would definitely stay again.

You’re right in between Pacific Beach and La Jolla. Also, when you walk out of the house, you will be greeted with a stunning ocean view. The house was super clean and has everything you will need for a comfortable stay.

We had a lovely 4-day stay at Denise's place in La Jolla. The house is a duplex bungalow, perfect for a couple. It felt private- we never saw the people next door. The location is just great, on a block just above Windandsea Beach. We really liked the easy beach access - there are no houses fronting the water here for a long stretch so it's a great location for a walk along the sea front to watch the surfers catching a wave or the beautiful sunsets. The house was very comfortable and well equipped. Highly recommend.
